Lydia Denzin has choreographed the musicals at Appleton West for the past four years. She grew up in Appleton and graduated from Appleton West, where she performed in numerous theater productions directed by Mr. Peckham. She attended the University of Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance and a minor in music. Following college, she moved from Iowa to New York City to pursue the life of a starving artist. She was lucky enough to perform with a modern dance company for three years.

 

She moved back to Appleton to pursue elementary education and has been teaching fourth grade at Franklin Elementary School for five years. She is proud to be part of Appleton West Theatre’s past and present!
