Corrie Riedl
Corrie Riedl is a theatre artist based in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated in 2017 from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI with a double major in Theatre Performance and Music, and a minor in Business Administration. Since graduating, Corrie has performed throughout Chicago and Wisconsin with companies such as First Stage, Collaboraction, Invictus Theatre, and Promethean Theatre Ensemble. She is also a founding Ensemble and Company member of Quicksilver Shakespeare Company; an experimental Shakespeare ensemble centered on the idea that anyone can play any role in the Bard’s cannon regardless of race, gender, or type. With Quicksilver Shakespeare Company, Corrie has had truly unique performance experiences, and she has had the opportunity to participate directly in the artistic and administrative founding of a new theatre company. As Quicksilver’s Company Manager for the last three years, Corrie has assisted with casting, marketing, fundraising, running rehearsals, scheduling, performance venue booking, and Actors’ Equity Association relations. In addition to her role with Quicksilver Shakespeare company, Corrie has found another artistic home at Lookingglass Theatre Company, one of Chicago’s five Tony Award-winning theatres, as a House Manager. Corrie began working with Lookingglass’ Audience Services department immediately after moving to Chicago in 2017 and could not be more thrilled to work with such an outstanding company of artists.
